Make your own unique sewn moving announcements with drop cloth pockets and manila shipping tags:

Print the new address information on regular white cardstock, adhere to a manila shipping tag and tuck the tag inside a drop cloth pocket:

You can also sew a printed cardstock 'Home Sweet Home' label onto the front of the drop cloth envelope:

I added a hand sewn cross stitch detail at the bottom of the address card which mimics the home sweet home font:

oh so beautiful paper pockets

Her pockets were made from linen but I'm a drop cloth lover and happen to have tons of drop cloth scraps on hand.

The post office happen to offer coordinating postage, I used the vintage seed packet forever stamps:

How to make drop cloth moving announcements:

1. Print out 'Home Sweet Home' onto white cardstock:

 2. Cut drop cloth pieces (be sure to double check size of manila shipping tags).
My pieces are 4 1/2"w x 8"l:

3. Using double stick tape adhere label onto center of one end of drop cloth:

4. Sew into place, use the needle down position when pivoting at corners:
